thanks Icecube.
though I found the source of 9235 HDA FF00, Biostar - WHQL for Win10 x64 / Win11 x64 only

x64 Win7 (non WHQL) to Win11 (WHQL)
for further details best head to the rog asus com forum and ask MoKiChU yourself
it installed without problems with my old MSI board, but I went back to 9183 because of sound quality. (Some claime 92xx is intended for Win11)

it is a generic driver mod by MoKiChU, intended for ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME DTS&RTK MB, including ASIO

unlike 9235 HDA, the older 9205 HDA FF00 version also works on Win7 & 8.x which that one is WHQL for Win7/8.x and has very good sound quality (maybe better than 9183), according to this guy in another forum .
use 9205 HDA instead of 9183 HDA, Icecube
I have 9205 HDA FF00 installed on my brother's old Sony Vaio laptop running Win7 x64 and on an old Toshiba Satellite 2013 laptop running Win8.1 x64; both laptops using Realtek ALC269

yes vocals, sharpness of instruments and 3d depth of music are clearly audible in this version.
9235 missing the quality of 9205. Reverted back to 9205.

Unofficial Realtek UAD Generic 6.0.9254.1
Due to Realtek not providing regular updates to HDXRTU.CAT, HDXRT.inf, HDXRTSST.inf and HDX_GenericExt_RTK.inf, it wasn't possible to make a Realtek UAD Generic package for old systems that is 100% WHQL compliant. To workaround this setup installs latest generic WHQL compliant codec component (version 6.0.8924.1) with hardware support application, audio effects and service components taken from latest version and then a force updater is used to replace the old codec component (RTKVHD64.sys and RTAIODAT.DAT) with its latest version.
Due to absence of valid and updated copies of HDXRTU.CAT, HDXRT.inf, HDXRTSST.inf and HDX_GenericExt_RTK.inf (or equivalents) new hardware IDs introduced since 6.0.8825.1 are at most partially supported and those introduced since 6.0.8925.1 are completely unsupported.
Realtek Audio Control app offline installation package for systems without Windows Store is available here .

Would a HDX_WhiteExt_RTK.inf help?
It's not generic, it adds the specific subsystem ID's and is version 6.0.9098.1.
I just attach it.
Cheers
Tom
